Regarding new projects, Mayne told National Public Radio (NPR), they tried to develop an idea to build a house with potential flood conditions experienced in Katrina, the United States.

Thus, if water levels increase then the house will float. The house has a height of about 3.65 meters high is equivalent to the street signs.

Then, the householder can easily unplug electrical and plumbing. The house is also equipped with battery power to the equipment and devices for three days and made from environmentally friendly materials.

Need not be expensive to build environmentally friendly homes. Needless to application of sophisticated technology which is also expensive. All can be started from a simple thing, really.

Most of us would feel the change in air temperature in recent years. Earth’s surface temperature is getting hot it feels. Apparently this has something to do with global warming, which resulted in an uncertain climate change.

Under the WWF study, this temperature increase has a maximum threshold, up to two degrees centigrade. Until recently, since 1992, an increase in global temperature has already reached one degree. Imagine, perhaps five to ten years, the earth becomes hotter.

Temperature rise one to two degrees may seem insignificant, but we already feel themselves alone in everyday life. A walk outside on the 10:00 o’clock in the morning only, it was very hot. Climate change is just one of many evil consequences of global warming. We certainly do not want this to continue. We’d have to migrate from Planet Earth.

Global warming issue, perhaps starting to feel boring. Unfortunately, the effect was not bored to continue to hit Earth. Developed countries are competing to create technology that can save water and energy usage. For example bamboo, many houses using bamboo as a frame buildings, walls, and roofs. Bamboo and building material is taken from a location not far from home. So it does not contribute to energy waste and pollution as well as contribute to Earth’s rising temperatures. Without using any AC, the houses in this village was cool. This is partly because relatively friendly building design with the surrounding environment. Other things, nearly every inch of land in the countryside there are still many plants that grow fast, be it trees or bushes. These plants also play an important role to cool the Earth.

Pretty simple is not it? To tackle global warming, do not need a lot of cost. Importantly, we started being friendly to the environment. From now on, no more wasting one lamp, one that leaky faucet, or one liter of gasoline was spent in a day. We probably could afford it financially, but we will not be able to pay the consequences of this energy waste, in the future.
