<p>Do not dismiss a cup of coffee. According to a study done of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, coffee may reduce risk of type 2 diabetes. The content of substances in coffee, according to them, can help regulate glucose levels in blood, and therefore, diabetes is gone.</p>
<p>A study involving hundreds of patients they do, whether it has a family history of diabetes or not. Study participants who drank five cups of coffee a day had fewer internal inflammatory risk factors for type 2 diabetes than those who do not drink coffee.</p>
<p>According to a report in the journal, coffee can increase the concentration of adiponectin, a protein in the body that helps regulate glucose. The researchers speculate that drinking less than five cups a day may also be useful, although more study is needed to support these findings. &#8221;At least, these are preliminary findings that carry clues about the benefits of coffee for the prevention of diabetes,&#8221; the cover of the report.</p>
<p>Twenty previous studies conducted worldwide indicate that coffee reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes by 50 percent. The researchers speculate that the cause is klorogenik acid in coffee acts to slow the absorption of sugar in digestion. Klorogenik acid also stimulates the formation of GLP-1, a chemical substance that increases insulin (a hormone that regulates the absorption of sugar into the cells). Other substances in coffee that is trigonelin (pro-vitamin B3) is also thought to help slow the absorption of glucose.</p>
<p>This is not the first research about the benefits of coffee. Previous research shows, coffee was also beneficial for preventing the formation of kidney stones, colon cancer, Parkinson&#8217;s disease, liver damage (cirrhosis), heart disease, as well as inhibit the cognitive decline in brain power.</p>
<p>Research also consistently shows that coffee reduces the risk of liver cancer and breast cancer. Coffee also protects the liver from cirrhosis, particularly cirrhosis due to alcoholism.</p>
<p>Coffee has also been identified to reduce the risk of stoke. A study of more than 83 thousand women over the age of 24 years showed those who drank two to three cups of coffee a day had a stroke risk 19 percent lower than those who do not drink coffee. Studies on a number of men in Finland showed the same results.</p>
<p>A study of 4197 women and 2820 men in France showed that drinking a minimum of three cups of coffee a day can prevent cognitive decline in brain function due to aging up to 33 percent in women. However, the same benefits not found in men. This may be because women are more sensitive to caffeine.</p>

<p>DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven  its value. We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. <p style="text-align: justify;">A new study proves that individuals with the risk of type 2 diabetes significantly reduced the disease development with metformin medication or supplement his diet with exercise programs.<span id="more-153"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">So says Dr. William C. Knowler and colleagues joined in the Diabetes Prevention Program Research Group formed United States government, as released by The Lancet, last week.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The researchers stated that the respondents are required to follow the modification of diet and physical activity. The result, they reduced the development of diabetes, 34 percent, compared with the group given only a placebo pill.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Preventing or delaying diabetes with lifestyle changes or metformin can maintain conditions for at least 10 years,&#8221; says Knowler and friends, as quoted by ABC News.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The study began in 1996 with the involvement of more than 3800 people who have blood sugar problems. In 2001 the results showed nearly 58 percent decline in the diagnosis of diabetes on diet and exercise group, and 31 percent decrease in the metformin group.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Metformin group lost 2 pounds in the first year experiment. Participants&#8217; diet and exercise group lost 7 pounds, but weighs up again two years later, so the total loss of weight is 4 kg in the third year. Fifth year decreased 2 kg weight, and goes on until the end of the research.<br />
The placebo group experienced only a small reduction in body weight over 10 years of research.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Prevention of diabetes is a long and winding road,&#8221; said Dr. Anoop Misra from Fortis Hospitals New Delhi, India. &#8220;There is no short way. Lifestyle changes and appropriate intensive in the long term seems to be most effective. &#8220;</p>
